A pretty cake for a gorgeous girl. Was my best friends birthday the other day, and I made this cake.
Pink champagne chiffon cake with pink champagne flavoured Italian meringue icing, and candied rose petals

Making one cake instead of two and adding a concentrated syrup I made from the pink champagne.
For the Italian meringue I added more syrup when melting the sugar and added 2tsp of powdered egg whites to make sure it was stable.
The rose petals were easy, pick roses from your yard (don’t buy them), pull off the nice petals, brush with egg whites and dust with caster sugar, then let dry.
